Dyer was last seen in Denver, Colorado on March 26, 1954. At the time of her disappearance, she had separated from her husband and was living alone in a boarding house in the 1100 block of Washington Street in the Capitol Hill neighborhood. She was employed as an elevator operator for the American Furniture Company. She has never been heard from again.Dyer lived in Denver from 1948 until her 1954 disappearance. She had married her husband in Prescott, Arizona in 1949. The marriage affadavit gives her date of birth as October 14, 1926 and the place as San Antonio, Texas, but searches of records in Texas did not locate Dyer's birth certificate. There is also no record of her ever having obtained a Social Security number. She may have been living under an assumed name.
Few details are available in Dyer's case. Her husband is now deceased and investigators do not know the whereabouts of her relatives, if she has any. Her disappearance remains unsolved.
