#7 2007-Sep-18 | Robert Van De Castle, Ph.D was our honored guest for Sept. 18th. 2007 Bob is former president of the International Association of the Study of Dreams (IASD), He co-developed the Hall/Van de Castle scales for the content analysis of dreams. His work with Calvin Hall provided a solid approach for quantitatively investigating dreams. Author of "Our Dreaming mind" (1994) and co-author with Calvin Hall, "Content Analysis of Dreams", Bob is professor Emeritus of the University of Virginia Health Sciences Center and was director of the sleep & dream center at that institute for 10 years. show notes |
