There is still no word on the DNA tests yet, but we are patiently waiting for any word. But, in the meantime, I got a call from the Montel Williams show today. They are sending a videographer to my home next week to get footage for the update show in early March (I think the 8th, but that is not for sure). At least Jessie's case will get more coverage from this. I will let you all know when I find out when the show will air. Glendene.

I just got a call from Sonia from the Montel show today. The videographer doing their interview for the update show will be at my place tomorrow afternoon at 4:30. I can't believe I waited all this time and then they call and say tomorrow! But who cares...the sooner the better. The more exposure on Jessie's case the better. Someday someone will see something and that will lead us to our Jessie.
Can you believe it is almost 2 years since Jessie went missing? Sometimes it feels like 2 weeks and other times it feels like 2 lifetimes. I guess you have all figured out that I will NEVER, EVER give up on the search for Jessie. I will not stop. I will get as many people looking for Jessie as I can and one day she will be found. In the meantime, thank God for the media's help to get the word about Jessie's disappearance & her pictures. Someone will recognize her when they see that beautiful face.
March 29, 2006...the worse day of my life. The worse 2 months of my life has been the waiting for this Jane Doe / DNA sample to be tested and either confirmed or not that she is Jessie. Luckily for my heart and head, I still believe Jessie is alive and it will take DNA to prove anything else to me and all of Jessie's family & friends. Nothing less. Thank God for Lindsay Marie Harris' family that her DNA has already confirmed Jane Doe is NOT Lindsay...THANK GOD. Now we pray for the same good news.
Everyone, thank you for your outstanding support in our search. Your undying love. Your continuous prayers. Without that we would not be nearly as strong as we throughout this ordeal (and do not let our strength fool you, this is the worse ordeal, torture, pain anyone can ever live through...but we have to). Also thank you to everyone for your wonderful wishes, cards & gifts for baby Maddison. Jennee is such a good mommy...we are so proud of her and thankful for them bringing Maddie into our lives. She is exactly what God & the Doctor ordered for our family.

Jessie's 24th birthday is coming up on MAY 27th, 2008. Let's celebrate her life. I am having a "BIRTHDAY PARTY" for Jessie. It will be online, in hearts, in person...wherever you live, however you want to celebrate is how I want you to do it. You can join the celebration by signing up on Facebook, MySpace, or even by signing our Guest Book on our website: www.jessiefoster.ca - I have been getting an idea from a local family in Kamloops who's son/brother is missing in the Thompson River, and have a candlelight vigil that night. This can be done from anywhere - please light a candle for Jessie on May 27th, 2008 at 8:00PM. We will celebrate her life and pray for her return.
I have had a cause on Facebook for sometime and there are now 590 members! I am very proud of this response, but we want to have more. The more people who keep Jessie's story on their lips and in their email, the more likely we are to not have people forgetting about her. I have recently started my MySpace cause, but have not done much with it. Please check them both out and pass them around.
I have chosen the Polaris Project to get any money that is donated to these causes. I met Tina Frundt from the Polaris Project last year in New York when we were both on the same Montel Williams show about Human Trafficking. The Polaris Project is out of Washington, DC and is there to help survivors of human trafficking get well & healthy again when they are returned to their families. Tina will be able to help me get help for Jessie when we get my girl back alive. If we don't, I still want to support this project as it is there to help those in dire need of help.

The 2 year mark of Jessie's disappearance is fast approaching. This Saturday, March 29, 2008 will not be a good day for Jessie Foster's family and friends. No one would have believed it when this ordeal started that it would still be going on this long. Thankfully God sent us baby Maddison (3 months old tomorrow) to help keep me sane - I sometimes call her my baby Medicine (obviously a cute play on words).
We have not got the DNA results yet, but as you all read or saw (if you went to the video) that Jane Doe's teeth look less and less like Jessie's teeth every time I look at them and also, the authorities on the case just last week were asking for the public's help to ID her...so perhaps they have ruled Jessie out or perhaps it just takes months and months to test the samples (sorry...I got sarcastic for a second there).
Also, I have not heard exactly when the Montel show update is, I have noticed there is an update show this Friday, but the website does not mention Jessie and I have not got an answer back on it yet...when I have the air date, I will let you all know.
Patty has done an excellent job adding all the articles and links I keep sending her - thank you Patty and to you Doug for hosting our website.
Over the past few days I have been rereading all the newspaper articles and all the media stuff, and I realized there were over 175 of them. That is not counting the radio or TV interview, this is just the ones you can read! WOW - I am very proud of the hard work done in our search, and I can't believe all this work will not find Jessie - we just have to find her and bring her home. Hopefully of course, alive and well, but if Jessie is not alive, we all agree, she needs to come home just as urgently, because if Jessie is not alive, she is certainly not resting in peace knowing what her family & friends are going through. She needs to come home alive and get well or come home not alive and have a proper place to RIP. Everyone deserves no less than that.
I sometimes try to think about what my life would be like if Jessie never went missing and strange as it sounds, I can't. The reason is because of everything that has happened because Jessie disappeared. It is so strange to say but I have so many new, wonderful, good friends who are living the nightmare we are...they are living with a missing loved one.
I would give up anything I have to get Jessie back, but one thing I will always have are you...our supporters; our family & friends who have been there all this time. Putting up with all my emails and always asking how we are and how is the case going, are there updates, etc...thank you all.

Brian, thank you for posting the slideshow. I appreciate it very much. Would you be able to do a remove viewing about Jessie? I just really need to know. Since finding out Lindsay Harris was found dead May 23, 2005, after being missing since the 5th, I just NEED to know where Jessie is soon. If she is not alive, I need to bring her home. Have you ever dreamt about Jessie?
Also, Brian...I noticed that there was a note on your site saying you may need help with some of your emails. Is there anything I can do to help?

Also, I have been talking to a woman who is a reporter for several different magazines. She writes articles that appear all over...in Canada, the USA and in the UK. She will be doing a story about Jessie's case. I will let you all know when I know more...take care, Glendene

Sex Crime Survivors: An Update
On today’s show, we’ll revisit some of our most memorable guests who endured shocking sexual exploitation. In a MONTEL exclusive, Eller promised her daughter Tamara that no harm would ever come to her. Her worst fears were realized when her boyfriend John molested Tamara. How has it been for them since sharing their story with Montel on our show?
Glendene’s daughter wanted to travel and see the world before going to college when she went missing. Glendene hired a private investigator and they discovered she was being forced into prostitution in Las Vegas. We’ll talk to Glendene and find out the update on this case.
Eva was abducted at age 13 by a stranger who forced her into prostitution. With the past still fresh in her memory, has Eva been able to move on?
Christine was kidnapped by a couple and locked in a room where men would pay to come in and have sex with her. She has never been able to have a relationship since. How is she coping?
Brigitte Harris made headlines when she murdered her father, but her sister, Carleen, came forward on our show to shed light on the way he treated them. She claims their father would beat them and force them to have sex with him. With the trial coming up, will Brigitte be able to use this as her defense?

As I sat here tonight, thinking about the hard times I have been having in the last week or so...maybe 2 years, but specifically lately. It seems as if I have been getting overwhelmed by it all...again...and I had a 'meltdown' last week. I decided to try to - in as few words as possible - get it out of me. This is what came out and, yes...I do feel somewhat better (that is, if I will ever get 'better' before I find my Jessie). Thank you all for reading & sharing. Sincerely, not just Jessie's mom, but also, Crystal's, Katie's & Jennee's mom - and of course, my baby doodles Maddie's and baby-on-the-way's grandma, Glendene.
The more I think about it, the harder it is for me to understand HOW DO I KEEP GOING AT ALL WHEN I HAVE A MISSING DAUGHTER.
HOW?
I mean, I do know that I still have a husband, 3 other daughters, a granddaughter and a grandson on the way. And they all need me - I know that. And I know that I am not always there for them, even though I do try very hard and I do the best I can for what I have to live with inside my head (and the pain inside my heart that I keep mostly to myself because I know this type of grief would overwhelm most people, my family included...so they do not usually know how much I hurt and cry). It goes on day-after-day, hour-after-hour, minute-after-minute...and sadly, it is now even year-after-year.
BUT, HOW DO I DO IT? I do not have a clue. I do get strength from a lot of places. From parents who have lost a child to death...how do you go to your own child's funeral? AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!! I could never do that. EVER. I would simply loose it. But then, others like my very best friend for over 20 years (since June 1987), BRENDA ROSE did what I could never do. She went to her son's funeral. JAMES ROBERT ROSE lived a lifetime in 16 short years, from July 22, 1986 to August 5, 2002. James was hit by a driver at the bottom of the family's driveway, right in front of her eyes. Brenda saw the soul of her son leave his body and go about 3 feet above her head...RIGHT INTO HEAVEN.
Ever since then, Brenda has said, "at least I know what happened...that he didn't suffer...that I have a place to visit him" - since then she has said many times, the worst thing possible would be to NOT KNOW WHERE YOUR CHILD IS. Then, a few years later Jessie went missing...Brenda's worst fears came true to me. My worst fears came true to her. We comfort each other all the time.
So, I guess the answer is, I go to bed at night, wake up in the morning, do what I can for my family and for Jessie's case, then I go to bed again that night...and so on, and so on, and so on.
THAT IS HOW I MANAGE TO KEEP LIVING WITH A MISSING CHILD.
I LOVE MY FAMILY SO MUCH. I HAVE SUCH GOOD FRIENDS. WE WOULD BE NO WHERE WITHOUT YOU ALL AND ALL OUR SUPPORTERS IN OUR SEARCH FOR MY BABY GIRL, JESSICA EDITH LOUISE FOSTER, born: May 27, 1984, missing: March 29, 2006 at age 21, age now: 24.
Please help me find my Jessie...Glendene Grant.
