The answer might be found with splunkers (cave explorers) in the area. They usually know all the caverns and how they connect. In our area there are very large caves which can only be accessed by going down a rope ladder in a small opening. Then when you get down the caves open up into large caverns. I don't know if this is the case there, but a geology map of the area might help.
This below was sent to you. When I look at this aerial view, I don't get the feeling it is the island, but there is a cave of some type around the long strip of land which has an opening to the strip body of water behind it. I believe there is a cave in that "crook" on the right as you first go through that passageway. It is about a cave, and there is water.
There is an acid smell. Maybe muratic acid? I know the smell, I just can't identify it.

Drew has been stopped several times for speeding and drinking and driving, yet he has never been charged. I wonder why?

If this is true, only Drew and the police that stopped him can say. Seems pretty easy to just ask the cops what happened under oath...I'm sure the FBI is already has done this by now.

My answer:
They did a few weeks ago but not recently.
I got to thinking about something today. Another missing womans' body was
discovered in the Forest Preserve near Leo's bar.not too long ago the dogs
could pick up her scent if they don't use something of Stacy's when they are
tracking. The dogs could get a false hit. But maybe thats dumb thinking on
my part.

This is a map of Leo's bar location (in red) If you look down and to the

the bottom of DD 6287 which is next to the barrel object. We know the F.B.I

very close to the quarry which fits also.

Someone on the find stacy peterson website said they wer just using the
Cadaver Search Dogs. and not the other kind. Bad news considering 7 perhaps
8 other bodies have been retrieved there fairly recently. Unless those crime
scenes are still marked in some fashion or have evidence they were searched
that remained that searchers can see those dogs are useless..I don't know
Drew's dog walking schedule.LOL
Another thing I have been unable to confirm is a rumor that Drew was a K-9

for sure so probably has a good grasp on what those dogs will and won't
do..darn.

What is the difference between a search dog, cadaver dog, decomp dog and a
forensic evidence dog?
A "search dog" has little or no training in finding deceased humans. The
term "cadaver dog" came about after search and rescue dogs started to be
trained to look for expired lost persons and suicides. The term
"decomposition dog" was started by the NecroSearch group. They felt it
better describes how dogs will indicate decomp human scent which includes
blood, feces, urine or other material with human scent on it. We have
started to refer to our dogs as forensic evidence dogs because they are
being trained as specialist. They are not only finding human remains but
trace evidence and residual scent
What are the qualities and skills of a Forensic Evidence Dog?
The forensic dog is trained to alert on residual scent along with other
faint scent sources like dried blood. The dog is taught not to disturb the
crime scene by digging or retrieving evidence. An important skill the dog is
taught is how to search a home or vehicle without causing harm to property.
The dog is taught to discriminate between live human scent and cadaver
scent, and animal bones and human bones.
My dog is trained for search and rescue, can I also teach him to do forensic
evidence work?
Yes! Dogs are capable of understanding several disciplines at the same time.
Potential problems are: dogs trained in disaster must be very clear and have
a different alert for live and dead, occasionally dogs trained in both live
and dead scent will alert and we are unable to determine which of the two
they have alerted on. As the need for forensic evidence dogs increases we
see more handlers who are training specialty dogs. They feel that a dog that
has been imprinted on one type of scent is more accurate that a cross
trained dog.
Is evidence searching the same as forensic evidence?
Terminology gets confusing, people use different words to mean the same
thing or the same word to mean different things. We define evidence
searching as an article with live human scent on it. Forensic evidence
searching can be cadaver, decomposing human scent, or any body fluids from a
deceased person. These scents can be on an article, the actual body, in the
ground or residual. The main point is a forensic evidence dog is never
looking for live scent.
When would I use a search dog and when do I need a forensic evidence dog?
Obviously if you have an assumed live person you need search dogs. Searches
for suicides or expected recently deceased persons should also use search
dogs. Its a very good idea to use search dogs that have been imprinted on
cadaver scent. Dogs that have never had any training on cadaver scent will
sometimes act strange or will not know how to communicate their find. The
handler does not see the " normal" behavior and may not recognize what the
dog has found. Some dogs who have no training will avoid the deceased
person. We are learning that at the moment of death changes in the body are
occurring. Factors like heat and the condition of the body will also make a
big difference in the decomposition. The training of a forensic evidence dog
comes into play for cases like: buried bodies, disarticulation, old cases,
bone searches, blood evidence, residual scents, crime scenes, building
searches, and vehicle searches.
In Human Remains detection, the Nose Knows.
In a missing persons case it is hard to prove a crime happened without some
evidence. In cases where a dead body will be the likely outcome of a search,
Cadaver dogs are used to search, rather than standard Search and Rescue
dogs. Why? Because a Search and Rescue Dog is trained to find living humans,
and not detect decomposing flesh.
Cadaver Dogs are trained to locate and follow the scent of decomposing human
flesh. Not a pretty thought, but their job is vital to both families of the
victims, and to a justice system that ofttimes needs a body to prove a
crime. These dogs work both on and off leash and are trained to detect the
scent of decomposition that rises from the soil, same principle as when a
dog knows where he last buried his bone.
Dogs must be trained as trailing dogs and air-scenting dogs. Trailing dogs
follow a scent that has fallen on the ground. These dogs can pick out a
human, or in the case of Cadaver dogs, a decomposing human's scent that was
carried on a breeze, or "fallen" from a person carrying a body to it's
location. Air-scenting is similar to trailing, but an air-scenting dog must
be able to pick the scent out of a breeze and follow it to the source.
Special chemicals are used to simulate the scent of decomposing human flesh
in training Cadaver dogs. Unlike simulated narcotic smells, or other
training scents, simulated cadaver smells are not available to anyone but a
certified training facility.
Let's hope Drew doesn't have access to that chemical if he killed Stacy and
others luminal also.!!!
Both whole bodies and body parts are located using Cadaver dogs, and each
team member must be trained in evidence preservation.
It isn't just crime investigations that use Cadaver Dogs. In disasters as
well, these dogs are used in conjunction with Canine Search and Rescue teams
to locate both victims and survivors of disasters, natural and otherwise.
I wrote an expert online(Marcia Koenig) who trains cadaver dogs and found
some of her information interesting enough to post here. It was on the
holiday thread but I figure it should go where the topic was originally now
that the reg board is open. See Below I'll try to answer some of the
questions.
1. How long the cadaver evidence is available to a dog depends on the type
of evidence and where it is. Blood splatter can be available even if it is
painted over or washed with bleach. I don't know of any controlled studies
where they've studied if a dog can indicate the scent of where a body was
placed for a short period of time or on clothing. The dog can tell if
someone has been in a car by matching up a piece of cloth from the person
with scents in the car and then giving an indication such as a sit. However,
this is not a perfect science, and many people make claims that their dogs
can do things that may be impossible. We've done the matching in a car and
I've seen this done. If there are trace elements of blood or other body
fluids the dog may be able to pick this up.
If the police have a search warrant for the car they can use cadaver dogs as
the dogs are considered non-invasive.
I don't know of many chemicals that would foil a dog. If they were strong
enough they would be suspicious to the police. It is possible to clean out a
car so thoroughly that a dog wouldn't be able to pick it up. But people
cleaning often miss cracks and crevices where blood and other fluids are
caught.
Dogs can do amazing things, but beware of any dog handler that says he and
his dog are the best in the world and no one else can do as well. There are
lots of great dogs and handlers out there - and lots of ones who think they
are great and let everyone know!
Marcia

Was able to find this article on the web, (below) it talks about a barrel
and hydrochloric acid.
If acid were in the barrel, and if it was eventually found, could it be
possible that all forensic evidence would be destroyed?
If the barrel is in water, and it's leaking...is it possible to locate the
barrel using traces of the acid in the water?
Can sniffer dogs be trained to search for the scent of hydrochloric acid?
Does anyone know how it could be possible for Drew to get such acid?
Just some questions that may or not be helpful.

Brian: I have a new friend who is a dog handler. They were part of SAR at
the WTC. She is testing the dog for a few days. Here are some of the
results:
Hi Fran,
Day 1: We put Hero through a few tests and because of the type of tests, we
are going to finish with more sometime tomorrow. Let me say first, that the
4 tests we put him through, he passed with flying colors....but tomorrow, we
will hopefully be able to put him through even more stringent tests. In
fact, today was almost too easy for him, but then again, we are in a
contained situation. I had asked for industrial skin gelatin to begin with.
My LE friend took the sample of clothing I gave him, put it into a large
plastic bin and proceeded to cover it with the gelatin...and I mean at least
3 ft. of it on top. He put the bin into an already constructed type of well
with a metal door and closed it. He then called me to bring Hero, without
letting me know where he had hidden the bin. I arrived at 6:21, Hero found
it within 23 minutes. This is a property of a one mile radius. Hero and I
then left the area. He then took polyolefin (shrink), took the mannequin,
along with the
shirt and wrapped it tightly around the mannequin and shirt and put it into
a thick metaled storage unit. We arrived at approx. 7:25. Hero took only
about 15 mins to find it. We then tried masking the mannequin with some
chlorine powder and barium sulphate which is an insulating agent and Hero
passed. Now I know there's so many more agents that could be used and I am
going to continue with it tomorrow as long as it's safe for Hero. They
didn't have any chemicals that they were aware of that would accelerate any
human decomposition. Actually, the fact that it's cold is on the side of
searchers in the fact that decomposition slows down in the cold. I will
research this through the night on chemicals and we can put our heads
together. My expertise is mostly K9 search but these are things that I can
help you with on getting more answers. I'll be in touch with you later.

Hi: Just wanted to caution you on something. Most of what I have told you

Day 2
Listen, we did just a couple of little run throughs for Hero. The manager
had an emergency and just one employee who didn't have alot of experience
was sent to try and help us. Knowing he was not experienced with chemicals,
I wasn't ready to put Hero at risk. We redid the gel test and got almost
the exact same reaction from Hero. Different locations and Hero was on
target...almost quicker this time. As far as testing with anything like
hydrofuoric acid...one chemical that absolutely could be used to dissolve
human flesh to the bone, but has no smell whatsoever. If this was used just
say, Hero would not be able to smell the chemical and I imagine might be
able to pick up on her remains. As for the dry cleaning idea. I had my
friend cut himself slightly, and wipe it on his coat (i had him bring his
leather). He is dropping it off at the dry cleaners tomorrow, get it back
in two days and we'll
test Hero on it. I will be picking the coat up and not letting my friend
anywhere near it and see what happens. Bad day for testing for more
though...sorry.

Drew's friend has been busy:
Meanwhile, a friend of Drew Peterson's was released Wednesday from the Will
County Adult Detention Facility after posting 10 percent of a $50,000 bail
after he was accused of beating his ex-girlfriend and her friend, then
allegedly threatening a witness.
Michael J. Robinson, 34, of Bolingbrook was charged with felony
intimidation, misdemeanor battery and domestic battery, according to police
and court documents.
Robinson was with the two women in an apartment complex elevator about 3:30
a.m. Monday when he quarreled with his ex-girlfriend, 32, over a phone call
and began choking her, said Bolingbrook police Lt. Ken Teppel. When her
friend, age 40, tried to intervene, Robinson allegedly punched her in the
face, authorities said.
Robinson dragged his ex-girlfriend and the friend into the apartment of a
third woman and again tried to choke the ex-girlfriend, Teppel said, and
when the friend tried to separate them, Robinson punched her in the face
several times, knocking her to the floor. Robinson left, and when police
arrived, they saw bruises and cuts on the friend's face, Teppel said.
Bolingbrook police sought a warrant for Robinson's arrest on battery
charges, but given his friendship with Peterson, Glasgow referred the case
to state police, Teppel said. He said the charge of witness intimidation was
not lodged by his department. Court records show the intimidation charge was
lodged after Robinson was accused of calling the third woman and threatening
to hurt her if she spoke to investigators.
Robinson has a lengthy history of arrests on a variety of charges, including
a 1993 conviction for unlawful delivery of a controlled substance for which
he was sentenced to 4 years probation.
His friendship with Peterson came to light after Ric Mims, a one-time friend
of the former sergeant, told the National Enquirer that Robinson provided
Peterson with a cell phone after police seized his old one as part of a
search warrant. Mims said Peterson and Robinson behaved suspiciously,
communicating in handwritten notes. Peterson said the only note passed
contained his cell phone number.
Peterson could not be reached for comment Wednesday but said last week he
has known Robinson for nearly two decades. "He was just a kid on the street
that I befriended, tried to keep him out of trouble," Peterson said.

CHICAGO, Illinois (CNN) -- Police discovered a decomposed body Friday in southwest Chicago -- a find that sparked unsubstantiated speculation it could be related to the disappearance of Stacy Peterson.

An ambulance and police cars stand by near the location where a woman's body was found in Chicago Friday.
The body appears to be that of a female with reddish-blonde hair, a Chicago Police Department spokesman said.
A city surveyor found the remains frozen to the ground near some train tracks at about 2 p.m. The body was taken to the Chicago medical examiner's office, where an autopsy has been scheduled.
Stacy Peterson disappeared in October. Her husband, Drew Peterson -- a former police sergeant in a Chicago suburb -- has been named a suspect in the disappearance.
He has consistently said he believes she ran away with another man.
The body was found about 20 miles from the Petersons' home, where she was last seen, CNN's Susan Roesgen reported.
Speaking to Nancy Grace on CNN Headline News, Drew Peterson's attorney, Joel Brodsky, said local authorities have already asked a state task force working on Stacy Peterson's disappearance not to get involved.
"I can tell you, it is not Stacy," Brodsky said. "I can guarantee you that."
Brodsky offered no proof of his assertion.
Drew and Stacy Peterson have been married four years and have two children. Drew has other children from a previous marriage.
Authorities are re-examining the death of Peterson's previous wife, Kathleen Savio, who was found drowned in a bathtub in 2004.

Re: Suggested places based on Brian's RVs and other people's dreams
I drive a truck full-time and I drive locally, around the Chicagoland area. The ONLY place I've seen Vulcan and STAR together, is on Rte 126 on the east side of Plainfield right before I-55. I plan to check this area, even if it's only to take recon pics for Brian Ladd from Brian's Dreams.
Where ILL Rte 126 intersects with I-55, just east of Plainfield and bordering Bolingbrook, there are two signs on the south side of the street, "Vulcan" and "Star," almost right next to each other. Brian said, "Go to the mine. She is buried there." That does not mean she is INSIDE the mine, just AT the mine. That could be inside or outside on the perimeter. He drew a V-CAN sign and a STAR sign. Think outside the box. Here's a Link...The Google Earth pics are from 11-2006
Kate63
One more thing which comes to my mind is that 6 miles mentioned by Brian may mean the distance between Stacy's and Scott Rossetto's house. It is exactly 6 miles.[Stacy - 6 miles- murder is not boyfriend]
Consequently, [do not fall for trap 41428804] may mean IT ISN"T Bolingbrook area (if we take 4142 -8804 as location).

Found on Stacy website edited by me to include people Drew knows
I went back to Sandra's web site heliumraven.com and listen again to this particular EVP message and I played it normal wave and it is "Barry" to me. I then re-read part of her writings this is what she wrote :
Drew: the police will talk
David: the police are knucklesheads
Drew: you need a oven
David: not if they're pieces you don't
Drew : the police are not knuckleheads. please God .... I hope they never talk to Barry
David : the DA could force him
OK all speculation here but I can't help wondering if Drew may know someone name Barry. (Yes, John Beery) I see reference that he does know some one named David (Yes: David Schurr,John David,David Stubben)
Also the phrase "knucklehead" just my thoughts here but you know how some people say a word and it kind of identifies them. I know someone who Say's cool .. that's so cool . Does Drew say that?
Also, talked to someone today whose husband is working on the Stebic case. They know he did it and are just waiting to pull all the evidence together. She confirmed the blood evidence on the tarp, as well as the cadaver dogs hitting in the house. She also mentioned other evidence (wasn't specific) that hasn't been made public. I didn't want to ask too much and put her on the spot. She was adament that they knew he did it and think he had help. I asked her if they thought his father was involved and she just smiled.

At issue is a motion filed in December by Peterson's attorney, Joel Brodsky, asking that the court order police to return his client's two vehicles, 11 guns, computers and other items seized as part of a search warrant.
The witness, forensic scientist Ann Chamberlain of Speckin Forensic Laboratories in Okemos, Mich., formerly worked for the Michigan State Police and is a medical examiner for Eaton County, Mich. She was fired from her job with the state police in 2007 after she admitted in a divorce proceeding that she had used state equipment to test her husband's underwear to determine whether he was cheating on her.

The "chief" doesn't have as much control as he thinks. Most don't want to know. But there are two who are actively hiding the truth. The woman is in the lab. She was to be wife number five. She is the source of the contamination. Her name is androgynous--Jan or Jamie. Short brown hair, hazel to blue eyes, young, pretty in her own right, but not beautiful. The other is higher up and remains in the shadows. He is younger but has more authority; his ego bullies and controls others with threats and promises. He does what he does not out of friendship but to protect his political ambition.

"killer arrested 1/19 Kathy death 414 XXVI 414 - 41428804 111 street white male 40's Quary road"

Brian! I think you've brought us all >< this much closer to finding Stacy Peterson, and here's why...
In this DD you mention 41428804, 26 (again, but this time in Roman numerals), "Kathy," which is Kethleen Peterson, and 111th, Quarry, etc. Dude, you are dancing on top of it this time. I can feel it. I'm sending two (2) links for areas of interest in the Stacy and Kathleen Peterson cases which show areas described as "111th." Please take a look at them. Switch from aerial to Bird's Eye view. Ask Gale to look at these and please let me know if either of you get anything. You indicate an arrest in 1-19. I've been looking for her for over a year and I think we can bring her home. Please let me know if anything strikes a chord with you, Gale or any of the others.
Thanks,
Jim

Hi, will ask Gale to work on this...yes, I think this is related to that case and will add it to the file.
I still think she's where we've discussed in the past.

Hi Brian,
Jim has been going through your Dream Archives, and has found a DD that he thinks is related to the Lisa Stebic and Stacy Peterson cases.
Your DD6076 has the name 'Lisa'. Even though it says 'Lisa', Jim thinks it is related to Stacy's case because of the close proximity of where they went missing from. The two locations are basically right next to each other.
What you have drawn looks like a platform or possibly an electrical transformer to Jim. He thinks it may be related to some kind of utility.
You wrote the numbers '19446'. Jim thinks that these numbers are related to the way the meridians run in the Chicago area. Based on locations for these two cases, it appears that you are indicating the '19400' block in the Chicago suburbs.
Lastly, '3 miles' could be the distance to Lisa and/or Stacy.
You will find your DD below.

Thanks Deb, it could be...I think Gale might take a drive there.

Hi Gale,
I know you're busy, but I was hoping you could take a quick peek at this and give me your impressions.
A while back Brian drew a sketch of an "angle" with curved lines cutting thru the right side of the angle. On that sketch he wrote, "Stacy Peterson Is Found At The Quarry." The link I'm sending is for a quarry in Morris, Illinois, and it might (not confirmed yet) be a quarry where Bolingbrook Police Department practiced SWAT tactics. Drew Peterson (main suspect) was on that SWAT team and if this is the same place, he would now the area. It's also within flying distance of the air port where he keeps his ultralight airplane. When you get time, if you'd take a look, I'd appreciate it.
I hope your holidays went well.
Jim

The remains were found 10 feet inland from the Des Plaines River in Channahon, Illinois.
http://www.chicagobreakingnews.com/2009/05/channahon-des-plaines-river-body-recovery-illinois-state-police.html
A clean-up crew this afternoon found a body on the shores of the Des Plaines River near Channahon and law enforcement officials are working to identify the remains, authorities said tonight.
The discovery prompted speculation about high-profile missing persons cases involving Stacy Peterson and Lisa Stebic.
But at an evening press conference, Illinois State Police declined to say even if the body was male or female, and referred to it only as "unidentified human remains" that were found near the Big Basin Marina at about 2:30 p.m.
Officials also declined specify the exact condition of the body. The Will County Coroner will conduct an autopsy Thursday morning. No indication was given as to how long identification would take.

The body was not in the water, but was found in the brush on the shore, according to a state police source. Other bodies had been found in the area in the past, the source said, including the remains of the Vaughn family, which were found in a car on a frontage road near the Stevenson Expressway in Channahon Township in 2007.
Earlier unconfirmed reports that the remains were a woman's sparked speculation among families of two missing suburban women that the discovery might yield some resolution in their relatives' disappearances.
"We've been called," said Pam Bosco, a spokeswoman for the family of Peterson, who disappeared from Bolingbrook in October 2007. "We're in contact by phone. We're just waiting to hear more information. For confirmation though, they said it's going to be a little bit of time. Obviously we're anticipating that it could be anyone -- you know, Lisa Stebic is missing too -- but we just want an answer of who this woman is."
"I found out through a friend. We're just hopeful, I'm so hopeful and I'm ecstatic," said Peterson's aunt, Candace Aikin, who lives near Los Angeles. "I'm hoping that it is Stacy. Our family really wants closure. Then we'll at least know what happened. We have so many unanswered questions and no closure is really hard."
Stebic's family also was aware of the discovery and was waiting for word from Illinois State Police officials, who are conducting the investigation.
"We haven't heard anything from Illinois State Police -- yet," said Melanie Greenberg, a spokeswoman for Stebic's family. "But it could be anybody; there are several missing women. But the location is just south, not very far away. [If it is her], the overwhelming feeling would be relief that we found her and that there is resolution. And we'd finally be able to put her to rest."
Stebic was last seen in Plainfield in April 2007. Plainfield police investigators are in contact with state police investigators, said public information officer Jim Caliendo.
"We're just letting them do their thing -- at this point we're not sure if it's even connected with our case or not," he said. "If we do get that information, we'll send an investigator out."
The manager of nearby Mugzy's Bar said the remains were discovered by the Living Lands and Waters clean-up crew, which the bar had hired to clean part of the river.
"We saw the trooper flying into the parking lot, and the Living Lands and Waters boat was coming down the river and the trooper jumped in their boat," said Ben, who asked that his last name not be used.
Ben said the crew, which is based out of Moline, came about four days ago and he briefed them that searchers had been sifting through the waters, apparently looking for Peterson's body.
"I told them that we had a flood last September. It was the worst flood ever; it was knee-deep in the parking lot. I told them if you're going to find anything, it's probably going to be onshore, because of the flood," he said. "They'd be a big help and get some closure to this case if they came across something. I knew it was a long shot."
